Sophie Dherbecourt (b.1992) is a painter based in Paris, France.

​

She is fascinated by the human body and the rapport between the physical self and its sensuality. Her style is inspired from the art deco and neoclassical movements, it deconstructs the lines
of bodies and genders making them architectural and timeless. 

 

Her approach to colors is cathartic, dreamlike yet always inspired by reality. Sophie Dherbecourt finds a powerful kind of softness within the torment and wants to portray the modern mythology

of her generation.
